My work sits at the intersection of depth psychology and Indigenous knowledge systems. I am particularly drawn to the healing intelligence embedded in traditional medicinal practices — ways of knowing that predate and in many ways exceed what modern psychology is only beginning to understand.
This inquiry has taken me to the Amazon, where I am currently engaged in ongoing research with the Asháninka people of Brazil — listening to how their ancestral relationship with nature, plant medicine, and community ritual speaks to the deepest questions of psychological healing. It is a conversation that has profoundly shaped both my practice and my understanding of what is means to live in right relationship with oneself and the world.
