Most of us live driven by the ego, unaware of the patterns running our lives, causing ourselves and others unnecessary pain. What we rarely realize is that there's another part of us — the unconscious — quietly asking to be known. They come in our dreams, sending us messages all the time. The symbolic language of dreams points to what Carl Jung called the collective unconscious — ancestral memory and experience common to all humankind.

Just as a seed needs time to grow into a tree, the psyche needs time to unfold. There's no rush. Every stage of the process holds meaning. Nothing is ever truly forgotten: what the mind suppresses, the body remembers.
